This is a call to action for the world. No longer say, “I’m such a geek, I love [insert cultural emphemera here]!” You are wrong. You are not a geek. Geeks like things that are not cool to like. A geek’s enthusiasm is unflagging, uncomfortable, and unnecessary. It is a passion both invasive and awkward, one that sits for long periods of time, smells funny, and fears all realities not called alternate. You call yourself a geek because you want to be cool, because you think geek is cool. The geek is not cool; only the idea of geek is cool. No one has ever reached ultimate geekness, and no one ever will. Geek is goal. This is geek. All hail the geek.
Hello there. I’m rather pooped after spending the weekend in New York. But all is well after staying with Jessie and eating vanilla granola with strawberries and yoghurt. What IS cool is that I am posting from aboard a BUS. Yes. The Internet is quite slow, but good enough for emails and things like this.

Watching those Project Runway kids work their magic on those sewing machines - incredible. Imagine how excellent/useful/efficient it would be to be like, “I wish I had a gown that looked like this, this and this.” And then realised you had mad talent and whipped it up in 10 hours.
